About Course

Welcome to Mindful Emotion Coaching

In this beginner level e-learning you will have access to lots of practical resources that support you understand the biology of stress and develop skills in talking about feelings and emotions. For those of you training with us as a coach, this e-learning will support building your understanding of how everything about us as adults is influenced by our genetics, relationships, environment and experience on a time line continuum from conception. Mindful Emotion Coaching  draws on research by Daniel J. Siegel (Mindsight Institute), John Gottman (Gottman Institute),  Sophie Havighurst (The Mindful Centre, Melbourne University ) and  Center on the Developing Child, Harvard University. To  find out about training with us  as a health  and wellness coach with a special interest in children, young people and families click here.

What Will You Learn?

  • By the end of this course learners will have an Increased understanding of how social interactions and relationships influence human development.
  • The course will help you manage your own emotions in moments of stress in every day life and it will enable you to manage and maintain compassion in your caring roles.

Course Content

Mindful Emotion Coaching
Mindful Emotion Coaching is a trauma-informed, neurodivergence inclusive, healing centred approach to wellness that has taken EHCAP about fifteen years to put together. This first module introduces you to the importance of emotion intelligence in managing moments of stress and to the concept of 'noticing'. In the last section of this first module you will be introduced to our Family Wellness and School Readiness Programme. Once you have completed all the modules you will be ready to train as a Mindful Emotion Coaching Coach. www.mindfulemotioncaoching.co.uk
